Description

In a 30 November 1973 letter, the author states that he is writing to Dymally to inform him about what is going on in Watts, CA, and the harassment of the Black and Latino community by the LASD and Highway Patrol. The author says that law enforcement does not provide help, and discusses the robbery of his own house. In point number two, the author states that he was hijacked by highway patrol on 28 October 1973, accused of driving under the influence, as his flu/cold medicine contained two-tablespoons of whisky. The author closes the letter by asking to meet with Dymally in person.
