Cliff Connors interviews his grandmother about her experiences as a part of the Silent Generation. Through this time, McCarthyism was at its height and the threat of being a labeled a communist made this generation the “silent generation.” At this time, Katie was a full time nurse and bread winner, but experienced sexism and sexual harassment in the work place. With this testimony, Katie offers us insight on how despite all of this, she was able to continue providing for her family.
